FAQs
What is the simillarity between hair transplants and Corrective Hair Implants?
In both procedures, new hair is implanted into an area where there is no hair.
What's the greatest difference between the two procedures?
With transplants, the hair grows. With Corrective Hair Implants, the new implanted hair is static; it doesn't grow.
What are the advantages of hair transplants over Corrective Hair Implants?
As previously stated, with transplants the implanted hair grows: the new hair that is implanted is taken from the donor area at the back of the recipient's head.
What are the advantages of Corrective Hair Implants over hair transplants?
Because Corrective Hair Implants don't have to rely on the limited amount of hair available in the donor area of the recipient, fuller coverage, and in some cases more realistic looking coverage, can be achieved than with transplants.
Do hair transplants and Corrective Hair Implants share any disadvantages?
Yes. In the case of both procedures, not all men with hair loss are good candidates for either transplants or Corrective Hais Implants.
Why aren't all men good candidates for transplants and/or Corrective Hair Implants?
In the case of hair transplants, the type of hair and the size of the donor area can limit the degree of success that can be achieved. With Corrective Hair Implants, the type of hair and the condition of the scalp can make the procedure unsuitable for many man.
