Hair Loss Editorials

editorials

We editorialize about hair loss because hair is vital to our lives.

Read official editorial positions on hair loss and its treatment.

This news category contains editorial views on articles and current events relating to and examining hair loss conditions and hair loss treatments for both men and women.

And why the need to editorialize about hair and hair loss? The answer is simple: Because hair is important in our lives. Hair, or the loss of it, affects the way we look; it affects the way we feel about ourselves, thereby affecting the way we live.

Not necessarily hair loss itself -- but how we feel about our hair loss -- can reach into every part of our lives, affecting it for the good when we have hair, and for the not-so-good when we lose our hair. It reaches into our relationships, our work and into our leisure. For some, it reaches straight into our psyche affecting the very foundations of that which creates happiness and joy; namely our self-esteem and our self-confidence.

At HairLossDotCom, our mission statement outlines our commitment to providing truthful and unbiased consumer information regarding hair loss conditions and their treatment. But in a larger sense, our website makes a case for a radical change of approach to understanding hair loss in our lives in context with a larger picture of our physical health and emotional well being.

For many men and women, the loss of their hair is unavoidable. In many cases, there is no cure for certain hair loss conditions, though there are treatments for others and some type of cosmetic solution for virtually all hair loss conditions. But for everyone "suffering" from hair loss, we will use these editorial pages to issue a challenge to each and every one of them to change their thoughts and acts in order to transform their lives from hopelessness and frustration to realities of deeper joys and self-acceptance.
