Health & Fitness

Managing hair loss is entirely personal – different people approach it according to their individual needs. But everyone benefits from being more fit, healthy and infused with vitality, visible on the outside because it comes from within.

The problem for many is that we often define fitness as something exclusively achieved through a health club, perhaps by hiring a personal trainer. Also, it’s commonly and mistakenly believed that fitness requires unpleasant, grinding hard work. It’s a reason so many people get discouraged early, or never begin to exercise at all.

Just as you rethink the meaning and look of hair on your head, now is a good time to reconsider ways to improve your fitness level and appearance. Yes, it does take effort to get in better shape. But that effort should be something you look forward to, particularly when you experience the benefit in the moment, as you exercise. If you wear a hair replacement, there still are ways to exercise with vigor.

The key is to become educated on health and fitness relative to alopecia issues.  This is a great place to start.
