Hair Loss Entertainment

“All the world’s a stage,” as a certain Bard of Avon – a certain BALD Bard of Avon, to be exact - once said. If we think of the stage as any place of entertainment, this statement is truer than ever, with modern technology making possible delivery of vast entertainment options to our laps (or laptops, at least).

Our lives are filled with various forms of entertainment, and that entertainment has the potential to shape our lives in ways both subtle and obvious. Yet too often we don’t see ourselves accurately reflected in the things we watch and the people we listen to. If we did, there would be many more people with receding hairlines, bald spots and gleaming domes on TV, in films, and on magazine covers.

This section helps to address that discrepancy, by highlighting the actors that dare to be bald, the songs that reflect the issues of hair loss, the illusions that wigs create on the stage. Here we celebrate the fact that not every performer or character that influences us has to be limited to a full head of hair.

At HairLoss.com, we acknowledge the power of the arts and entertainment. It can be a valuable tool in helping shape and focus our perceptions of ourselves and our place in the world.
